Three songs finished, let's take a holiday!

Three songs for the next jIM dIMZEY-release have now been almost finished. It's 'Too Many Me', 'Something 'Bout Women' and 'I Guess I Have To Go Now' that just needs a couple of finishing touches before they're ready for mix. "I'm happy with the result. They didn't turned out quite as I expected but in a way that's even better since it gave a different soul and atmos to the songs. 'Too Many Me' is the song that differ the most from the version in my head when I wrote it. Instead of the more singer-songwriter feel I had to it when I rehearsed it with only the guitar and my voice it became a dreamlike train ride through a desert landscape. Sort of...", Jim says.

But everyone needs a vaccation, and Jim have never been the one that do things in the right order. With nine songs to go for the new release Jim are going on holiday for a couple of weeks. In two weeks he returns to the tropics, doing what you do in the tropics; explore the ocean creatures, get stung by insects in the jungle and eat rice and fish.
He'll be back end of september when he's going to pick up where he left and continue the recordings for 'Dear hunter.' as the working title for the next release is called for the moment. Yet there is no fixed release date though.

"No, I don't want to rush it, I don't see the point. It will take it's time, simply as that. The important thing is that it's going to be good when it do come out. But of course, the further into the recording you get, the more eager you become to release it", Jim says.
