Recordings will resume this weekend

This weekend jIM dIMZEY will resume the recordings of the new release.

"I will check the current status, listen to the songs recorded and try to determine if I'm on the right track. And I'm gonna figure out the next step, starting with the basics on "Dead Eyes" and "My Marijuana Baby".

The new release was at the idea stage supposed to be more uptempo than the previously "Songs From the Mist", with more electrified instruments and proper drums, but as things went down with the first couple of songs jIM's thinking of stay with the same soft approach and dopey mood.

"I've just think it's better that way. I'm really curious about how the songs should sound if I were to make them more like an ordinary studio production with full force guitars, drums and high key vocals, but when I listen to the result I came up with so far I really like the coolness of the songs when they're done the way dIMZEY always''ve sounded. And of course, there is this catch: Blood is simply not good enough to play the complicated drum beats required for another type of production haha!"

Which is a truth with modification, because if that really should be the case, jIM would simply put someone else behind the drums.

"Yeah, I like Blood, but if I weren't happy with things the way they are, and if I really would like to do another type of production, he had to go. That's the beauty of being a solo artist; you can always get rid of the elements that doesn't fit the idea of your art".

The recordings this weekend will also ensure that the previously commenced songs are ready for vocals.
