jIM reservs time to complete the recording for the next release

It have been decided a few weeks already and now it's final; jIM will concentrate the work on the next release to get things moving a little bit faster.

– Yes, at the end of june I'm getting an opportunity I've been waiting for and I finally will be able to work fulltime a couple of months with the next release.

jIM cannot promise the whole recording will be ready for release before he's going back to the tropics for a while, but the intention is to make as much as possible with the time on his hands to release something before that.

– Yeah, the trip to Indonesia have been planned a long time ago and I'm really excited to get there again. Of course I hope everything goes smoothly with the recordings and that the full recording is ready for release by the end of this summer, but I can't really tell how it will go. It depends on a lot of things.

So far in jIM started thinking about bringing in outside musicians for some songs, but nothing is decided yet.

– I'm fully aware that the more complicated pieces would benefit the end result, and to introduce talented musicians who are content to listen to the idea once and then toss in something even better in a couple of takes is of course an attractive thought. At the same time, it's a fucking mess to involve people outside of our little bubble and although Blood, Diamond, Pain and Killer not are super professionals I like the charm of what they can accomplish. If the purpose is to gain time I rather go with a good sound technician for the mix cause that ballpark is not my ballpark sort of speak. We're still very much DIY and I don't think it's a disadvantage that it shines through occasionally. I am fussy by nature so I will not let out any rubbish anyway, everything will be scrutinized and considered before I let the listeners out there take part of it. That said, I will maybe let some people do small parts that it's totally impossible for me or any of the other to do. I mean, who the fuck is going to play banjo, sitar, saxophone and scottish violins?! Crazy instruments, but nice.

Sounds like an interresting recording one must say anyway.
