jIM dIMZEY reveals details about upcoming release

Six songs are nearly finished for the upcoming dIMZEY release, and now jIM reveals new details about it.

What first was thought of being a full length album is now rethinked, and the new formats are thought to be more suited for the consumers listening patterns of today.

– No one buys CDs anymore. And no one listen to a full album anymore, at least not on digital streaming platforms. The only ones who are still buying records and playing them from beginning to end is vinyl lovers.

Therefor, I will not make a full length album, and no CD. When the songs are recorded and set for release there will be a digital mini album with about 5-6 tracks, and hopefully a 12" vinyl limited release for the vinyl passionates.

No date for release is yet set, but some time during this year, can't tell you exactly when.

The recordings started already in early 2015, but dIMZEY was clear from the very beginning that it would take the time needed to finish.

– I haven't been rushing. One can say that I'm a lazy son of a bitch but it was never about getting a orelease out as quick as possible. I don't have anything to proove, even though I of course are excited to hear the result.
