Drummer Blood gets competition

Tomorrow a new drummer will be auditioned for jIM dIMZEYs new record. dIMZEY have had a long time struggle to get Blood play the drums that he wants.

— Blood have been doing great on the parts that are more simple and laidback, and he nails the percussions on the songs that are similar to the other on 'Songs From the Mist'. But when it comes to the harder parts he just can't get the hang of it. The new songs have a bit more complexity which takes more of a drummer than Blood am at this point. So the decision I've made is to try out another tomorrow for the harder parts.

But it's not the end of the journey for Blood. He's still going to be a part of the team and will still play on the down tempo songs as the plan goes.

— Yeah, Blood is still in. The new drummer is a freak when it comes to drums, I mean, he can play anything, but Blood is still a full member and in many ways irreplaceable.

The name of the new drummer will be revealed as soon as dIMZEY have decided wheather he's in or not. If so, two drummers will be part of the solid line up.
